The objective of the project is to ensure equal access to healthcare for patients with cardiovascular diseases, encouraging the resilience of health systems in the area and promoting the transition from institutional to family care.
The project will contribute to improving access for the population in the Romanian-Serbian border region to quality medical services for the diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases and support the modernization of medical infrastructure by purchasing state-of-the-art equipment.
With a budget of 5 million euro, the project aims to modernize medical institutions by endowment with new equipment and providing new knowledge and skills to the medical staff working in the partner institutions.
Furthermore, a cooperation protocol will be signed, allowing partners to continue collaborating to find solutions to common health challenges in the Programme area and to increase the resilience of healthcare systems.
The event will take place on January 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM, in the Conference Room of the Timis County Council, located at 17 Revoluția din 1989 Blvd., Timișoara.
