In the Romanian-Serbian border region, more and more families face the daily reality of dementia. It’s not just a medical condition — it’s a life-changing journey for everyone involved.
That’s why doctors and hospitals from Vršac and Reșița have joined forces through the EU-funded project “Early Diagnosis – Living Well with Dementia.”
Together, they’re building more than facilities — they’re building hope.
🏥 In Vršac, a new building will house an MRI scanner, and a new ambulance is ready to respond when every second counts.
🏥 In Reșița, a CT scanner and other essential tools will help catch warning signs early.
But this project isn’t just about machines — it’s about people. Thousands of patients across South Banat and Caraș-Severin will gain access to modern diagnostics, while families will be better informed and supported.
We’re breaking the silence around dementia and proving that care knows no borders — thanks to the Interreg IPA Romania–Serbia Programme.
