Within the Interreg IPA Romania–Serbia Programme, the ORALERT 2025 project strengthens access to innovative, non-invasive screening solutions for HPV-related oral cancers in the cross-border area.

By equipping medical facilities, training healthcare professionals, and raising awareness, the project directly addresses the needs of young people aged 18–24, a group often unvaccinated against HPV and with limited access to routine screening.

The project „Equal access to innovative screening solutions for oral HPV” is implemented by the „Victor Babeș” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Timișoara and the General Hospital „Đorđe Joanović” in Zrenjanin.
