HIPEC therapy, an advanced treatment for gynaecological cancers, is now available free of charge at the Timisoara Municipal Emergency Clinical Hospital.
Beyond medical excellence, this milestone means equal access to modern treatments and an important step towards offering better chances of survival for women living on both sides of the border. Investments in state-of-the-art medical equipment and the training of healthcare professionals are helping to build a stronger public health system, closer to patients’ needs.
These results are made possible through cross-border cooperation within the strategic importance project “Together We Can Beat Cancer.” The success of this medical first reflects the professionalism and dedication of the entire project team from Timisoara Municipal Emergency Clinical Hospital, Drobeta Turnu Severin County Emergency Hospital, Kladovo Health Centre and Veliko Gradište Health Centre.
