Improved Medical Infrastructure in Banat: A Romania-Serbia Cross-Border Success

The Interreg IPA Romania-Serbia Programme, co-funded by the European Union, continues to strengthen healthcare access in the Banat region with significant new developments in Bozovici, Romania and Pančevo, Serbia.

🏥 In Bozovici, Romania:

  • A new medical center now facilitates expert care in five main areas: general medicine, cardiology, neurology, pediatrics, and gynecology.
  • A new, fully equipped ambulance ensures faster emergency response for over 20,000 people across 33 communities in Almaj Valley.

🚗 In Pančevo, Serbia:

  • Four new vehicles have been introduced for the Home Care Service, Visiting Nurse Service, and for the transport of patients requiring hemodialysis.
