On Emergency Medicine Day, the Interreg IPA Romania-Serbia Programme highlights the importance of cooperation in building safer and more resilient healthcare systems across borders.
By supporting joint initiatives, medical infrastructure, and collaboration between healthcare professionals, the Programme contributes to improving access to emergency medical services and strengthening healthcare resilience in border communities.
Today, we stand in solidarity with emergency medicine teams everywhere and support safe spaces for those who protect and save lives every day.
We have included in the collage a real ambulance and healthcare vehicles used by local communities in Pančevo and Bozovici, bought through a project co-funded by the European Union under the Interreg IPA Romania-Serbia Programme (Jems code: RORS00191).
