With funding support from the European Union through the Interreg-IPA Cross-border Cooperation Romania-Serbia Programme (2014-2020), cycling enthusiasts now have an effortless way to explore both regions. Stretching for 70 km along the Bega River, the Timișoara – Zrenjanin trail bolsters cross-border collaboration, promotes sustainable tourism, and uplifts local communities.
Special thanks to Timiș County Council, the Banat River Water Administration, Zrenjanin city officials, and the Romanian-Serbian Border Police for their dedication to this meaningful project, which serves the benefit of all.
Driven by cooperation, powered by the European Union!
