Today, we join the global community in celebrating the incredible variety of life on Earth. Proclaimed by the United Nations, this day is a powerful reminder that protecting our ecosystems is vital for human well-being and the future of our planet.

This year’s theme, “Acting locally for global impact,” perfectly captures the essence of our project: CBC Network for Sustainable Use of Natural Resources (Green-Path)! ?✨

By focusing on communities near protected natural areas in Romania and Serbia, Green-Path is turning local dedication into a global win for the environment. Here is how we are making a difference together:

• Habitat Restoration: Revitalising local ecosystems and green spaces.
• Environmental Monitoring: Keeping a close eye on air and water quality.
• Joint Strategy: Developing cross-border pollution management and biodiversity conservation plans.
• Community Empowerment: Involving local people in environmental planning to build a foundation for sustainable tourism and climate resilience.

Big impacts start with local actions in the beautiful natural areas of Karaš–Nera (SRB) and Mlaștina Satchinez (RO)!
