According to the provisions of Article 36, paragraph 6 of Regulation (EU) 1059/2021, in cases where a partner does not comply with the visibility obligations established by EU Regulations and fails to take remedial actions, the Managing Authority shall apply corrections. These corrections, which take into account the principle of proportionality, may lead to the cancellation of up to 2% of the support from the funds.
Consequently, the Monitoring Committee for the Interreg IPA Romania–Serbia Programme has approved a methodology regarding the measures applicable in situations of non-compliance with the visibility rules for the programme. In order to support you in implementing these rules and to ensure you are informed in due time about the types of identified non-compliance cases, the applicable financial correction thresholds, and the main rules for applying corrections, we have drafted a note addressed to project partners, which can be accessed here:

We recommend consulting this note and taking proactive action to avoid any possible financial penalties for non-compliance with the mandatory visibility rules. The methodology regarding the measures applicable in situations of non-compliance with the visibility rules for the programme is posted on the programme site and can be accessed in the same section as above.
