Opening Conference of the Blue Sky Project – Cross-border Solution to Air Pollution

Today we were proud to take part in the Opening Conference of the Blue Sky Project – Cross-border Solution to Air Pollution! 🚀

This ambitious initiative unites partners from Serbia and Romania with one shared mission:
👉 To improve air quality, reduce harmful pollutants, and create a healthier environment for all citizens in our region.

Through innovative air pollution monitoring systems, support for sustainable mobility planning, and promotion of green technology, the project will directly contribute to the EU’s Clean Air Policy Package and help protect both people and nature. 🌱

With a total budget of over €1.4 million, the project brings together the City of ZrenjaninTimis County Council, the Regional Agency for Socio-Economic Development – Banat, and the Politehnica University Timisoara, Faculty of Chemical Engineering, Biotechnologies and Environmental Protection.

The Blue Sky Project is co-funded by the European Union through the Interreg IPA Romania-Serbia Programme.

Together, we are working towards a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable future. 💚
