This week, the Museum of Highland Banat in Resita brought together over 50 experts for the conference “Cultural Heritage between Technology and Tourism – Best Practices and Successful Projects.”

The event turned into a vibrant exchange of ideas and experiences, where history met digital creativity.

From 3D reconstructions of archaeological sites to virtual museums and interactive apps, participants explored how innovation helps preserve and promote Banat’s shared treasures.

Organised within the “Banat Heritage Portal” project, co-funded by the European Union through the Interreg IPA Romania–Serbia Programme, the conference highlighted how cross-border cooperation and technology are reshaping the way we experience cultural heritage.
