The European Commission’s Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy is pleased to invite stakeholders, experts, and interested parties to participate in an online workshop on Reducing Border Obstacles between EU Member States and IPA Beneficiary Countries, with a special focus on Transport and Connectivity.

This important event, taking place on 12 June 2025, aims to bring together voices from across Europe to discuss preliminary study findings regarding barriers to cross-border transport and mobility. Participants will have the opportunity to:

• Examine key obstacles affecting connectivity between EU and IPA regions;
• Share local and regional insights;
• Explore solutions and opportunities for improving cross-border transport infrastructure.

Organised by Spatial Foresight and t33, this workshop is part of a broader European Commission study aimed at enhancing cooperation and integration at the EU’s external borders.
