The European Commission’s Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy invites experts, stakeholders, and practitioners to participate in an online workshop on Reducing Border Obstacles between EU Member States and IPA Beneficiary Countries, focusing on Flood Prevention and Response.

Organised by Spatial Foresight and t33, this event is part of a broader initiative to identify and overcome challenges in cross-border cooperation along the EU’s external borders with IPA countries.

During the workshop, participants will:

• Explore preliminary findings from the ongoing DG REGIO study;
• Discuss barriers to effective cross-border flood risk management;
• Share local and regional perspectives to improve coordination and response efforts.
