22 projects worth €30.4 million to receive funding through the Interreg IPA Romania-Serbia Programme

During the Fifth Meeting of the Monitoring Committee for the Interreg IPA Romania-Serbia Programme, 22 projects were selected for funding, with a total value of €30.4 million. These projects are in the fields of environmental protection and emergency management, as well as economic and social development in the border area.

The projects aim to improve health infrastructure, civil protection, and disaster management capacity in the border area. This includes acquiring advanced equipment and providing professional training for medical and emergency personnel.

Furthermore, funding will support the development of socio-medical services for vulnerable individuals and innovative tourist products to showcase historical landmarks or natural attractions in the border region.
