The Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration has officially launched a broad consultation process to define the priorities for the 2028–2034 programming period.

Our goal is to identify the real financing needs within the programme area and ensure that the future Interreg Romania–Serbia Programme delivers a significant, positive impact on both sides of the border.

🏛️ Strategic consultations underway

On 31 March 2026, the Ministry hosted the first dialogue with representatives of the Romanian central public administration. The discussions focused on:

• Identifying key intervention fields and activities.
• Developing a user-friendly system to simplify access to European funds.
• Ensuring a results-oriented approach that maximises the effectiveness of every project.
