In 2026, we celebrate 15 years of Interreg Cooperation Day.

On the Romanian-Serbian border, we celebrate cooperation by bringing it closer to the people who live here.

On 24 September, communities, firefighters, public authorities and project partners from Romania and Serbia will come together for “Together Against Wildfires”, a day dedicated to fire prevention, emergency response and community preparedness.

🚒 We will see firefighting equipment in action.

🧯 We will learn more about emergency preparedness.

🤝 We will share experience across the border.

🇪🇺 And we will show how European cooperation can become something practical and local.

Join us in Orom, Serbia, for:

🚒 Interactive firefighting demonstrations for citizens, led by the Volunteer Fire Brigade Orom and the Municipality of Novi Kneževac

🤝 Presentations of projects and equipment supported with EU funding under the Programme, with Serbian project partners from the emergency management, volunteer firefighting and forestry sectors
